STRESS MANAGEMENT & THE GUT-BRAIN AXIS

The gut microbiome is often referred to as our “second brain.” It plays a
pivotal role in mental and physical well-being, as imbalances in the
gut can impair gut barrier function, mood, and focus. Regular use of
targeted probiotics supports the gut-brain axis, improves stress
response, and strengthens gut barrier function.

Acidic beverages such as coffee, tea and orange juice should be avoided. Make sure the liquid does not exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit as this can kill the probiotics.

Can I Take Omni-Biotic Stress Release More Than Once Daily?

Yes, Omni-Biotic Stress Release can be taken twice daily, especially if you are experiencing persistent stress-related digestive issues and / or are living a high stress lifestyle. In most cases, taking Omni-Biotic Stress Release once daily is sufficient.

Can I Take Omni-Biotic Stress Release On An Empty Stomach, Or Should I Take The Probiotic With Food / A Meal?

All Omni-Biotic probiotics are best taken on an empty stomach. This helps the probiotic bacteria move through the acidic environment of the stomach as quickly as possible, and they reach their destination in the intestines alive and metabolically active.

Can I Take Omni-Biotic Stress Release With Other Supplements And / Or Medications?

Yes. Omni-Biotic probiotics contain only strains of bacteria that naturally occur in the human intestine, and no chemical agents that can interact with other supplements or medications.

What Are The Probiotic Strains Included In Omni-Biotic Stress Release?

Omni-Biotic Stress Release contains nine specifically selected, scientifically tested, well-characterized probiotic strains:

  • Lactobacillus acidophilus W22
  • Bifidobacterium lactis W52

Why Are There Other Ingredients In Addition To The Probiotics In Omni-Biotic Stress Release?

The other ingredients included in Omni-Biotic Stress Release are: Non-GMO corn starch, maltodextrin, inulin, potassium chloride, magnesium sulphate, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), enzymes (amylases), manganese sulphate.

These ingredients are specifically added to improve the delivery of the probiotic bacteria to the intestines. A small amount of non-GMO corn starch acts as the carrier. The other ingredients are prebiotic nutrient that serve as the food for the
probiotics. When the powder is dissolved in liquid, the probiotics can hydrate and consume these specialized nutrients, and become strong for their passage through the digestive tract to the intestines where they will be most effective.

How Does Omni-Biotic Stress Release Help With Stress Management And Brain Function?

Stress negatively impacts your gut microbiome in several ways. Stress puts the body in fight or flight mode, which redirects blood flow away from the digestive organs. This can lead to digestive disturbances such as diarrhea, constipation and bloating. Prolonged periods of stress can also kill the good bacteria in the gut, contribute to a gut microbiome imbalance, and cause inflammation. Furthermore, the gut and the brain stand in constant communication with one another. In fact, 95% of the happiness hormone serotonin is produced in the gut. A disturbed gut
flora can disrupt brain function, including mood, concentration and sleep.

How Does Omni-Biotic Stress Release Help Manage Irritable Bowen Syndrome?

The probiotic strains in Omni-Biotic Stress Release strengthen the gut barrier, help reduce inflammation in the colon and increase bacterial diversity in the gut. Omni-Biotic Stress Release was tested in a clinical study with IBS patients. After 4 weeks of taking Omni-Biotic Stress Release, patients reported an 80% reduction in symptom severity. In addition, bacterial diversity increased, gut barrier function
improved, and anti-inflammatory effects were observed in the colon.

How Many Colony Forming Units (CFU) Are In Omni-Biotic Stress Release?

Omni-Biotic Stress Release is characterized by 7.5 billion CFU per serving / sachet.

How Many Servings Is In One Box Of Omni-Biotic Stress Release?

One box of Omni-Biotic Stress Release includes 28 servings. This probiotic is shelf stable through the expiration date at room temperature.

Do I Have To Refrigerate This Probiotic?

No, Omni-Biotic Stress Release does not need to be refrigerated.

Is Omni-Biotic Stress Release Safe For Children?

Yes, most OMNi-BiOTiC® probiotics are safe for children.

For babies and up to one year of age:
Omni-Biotic Panda was specifically developed for babies and young children to support the healthy development of the baby’s gut microbiome, digestive system, and immune function. It has also been shown in clinical studies to improve symptoms of infant colic and to reduce the risk of childhood allergies, such as eczema.

For children between one and three years of age:
If the child is benefiting from Omni-Biotic Panda, this is often a good choice to continue until three years of age. Other probiotic formulations (except Omni-Biotic HETOX) can be taken at half of one sachet per day (i.e., half of the daily recommended dose for adults).

For children older than three years of age: Children above three years of age typically respond well to taking the regular daily recommended dose.

To improve the taste of the probiotic, you can dissolve it in infant formula, milk or yogurt, a dairy alternative, lukewarm soups and apple juice. Avoid juices that are too acidic such as orange juice as these negatively impact the probiotic bacteria.
